Do you create funeral/sympathy flower arrangements?

Yes we can, just forward your enquiry to hello@theflowercart.co.nz

Can I order a custom posy?

You sure can! Please email your enquiry to hello@theflowercart.co.nz to arrange all the details.

Can I order posies in advance or do I need to order on the day I'd like it sent?

You can order up to 2 months in advance online. Just select the delivery date on the calendar when placing your order. However please note our posies are created daily colours may vary.

What days do you deliver?

We deliver Tuesday to Saturday, free delivery within New Plymouth, Bell Block, Waitara, Inglewood and Oakura. Please call to discuss delivery outside of these locations: 0272 866 883

How big are the posies?

We have a range of sizes available. The petite posy is always the size pictured in our photos unless stated otherwise. The grande posy is twice as big as the petite posy, and the deluxe posy is three times bigger.

Can I order a customised card to be delivered too?

Of course! We handwrite notes on our specially designed swing tags at no extra cost.

What do I do if my posy does not arrive?

Please contact us urgently on 0272 866 883 and we’ll investigate straight away.

How will I know if the posy has been delivered?

We always send a confirmation text when it has been delivered, so make sure you include your mobile number in your order so we can let you know when it’s arrived.

What time do you deliver?

We run deliveries once per day to a PM schedule. All our deliveries are guaranteed by 5pm for commercial properties and 7pm for residential properties, however, we are usually done well before this time.

Can I choose a specific delivery time?

Yes, we can offer particular delivery times for an extra fee. Just give us a call on 0272 866 883 to arrange the details.

What should I do with my posy when it arrives?

Remove posy from the hessian wrap, cut approx. 1-2cm off each stem on an angle and place it in a vase with cool water. Remove any leaves that sit under the waterline. Do you love the hessian wrap and want to keep it wrapped up? Make sure you add a little water each day to the plastic bag that sits inside the hessian.

Our posies are all delivered in an eco-friendly re-usable wrap and the cello bags are biodegradable.

How can I pay?

We accept online payments via PayPal or credit card.

What happens if the recipient isn't home when the delivery arrives?

No worries! All our posies come with water and will stay fresh until they arrive home. We always try and leave the posy in the shade and out of the weather in a safe place. If you need it left somewhere special, make sure you give us clear instructions in the delivery notes when placing your order.

Can I send flowers to more than one shipping address on one order?

Our shipping is free so please place separate orders per shipping address. Otherwise call us on 0272 866 883 to arrange more than one order with a single payment.

My PayPal address is different to the address I'm sending the flowers to. Will you know the correct address?

We can’t see the information stored in your PayPal account, we only see and use the information you’ve entered into our website in the order section. Please make sure you double check that you’ve entered the correct delivery address.
